Today we went to our 2nd Heartsent picnic. Last year, Sarah and I went with Grandpa and GG. We still remember how nervous we were going last year. The picnic is a yearly occasion for all adoptive parents and parents to be to meet and have fun. We were excited to see old friends and share our stories of the past year. Chloe had fun seeing all of the other children and spent some time in the swing at the playground.It rained for a while, but most of us stayed and waited until the rain stopped. It was fun to eat some authentic foods again!
We rejoice with those who have finished their journey, and pray constantly for those who are finishing their paperwork and / or waiting to travel.
